Market Manager
Contra Costa Certified Farmers’ Markets Inc. is hiring. A strong candidate is eager to lead, passionate about building community; conscious of the food we eat, curious about where it comes from, and mindful about supporting small family farms, food makers and other small businesses.
Currently hiring for a new market to open in Pleasant Hill, May of 2026. Paid training would begin in January. Market Managers are in charge of the entire market, from market set up and tear down to overseeing market day activities. Supporting vendors is also a key role for this position. Incredibly rewarding, fun, and helps support your healthy lifestyle. Dedication to Saturdays year-round is a must for this key position. In addition to the onsite market day, administrative duties are expected weekly and are conducted remotely from home on a flexible schedule.
Job seekers with Farmers’ Market and/or event experience is a big plus, however, CCCFM is ready and willing to train. Must be comfortable in a leadership role, commit to year-round work on Saturdays, be reliable, looking for a long term job, trustworthy, and understand the value of building relationships.
Pay starts at $28 per hour and hours vary from 15-20 per week.
