Non-farmers who are sampling open product or cooking at the markets will require a Temporary Food Facilities permit from Contra Costa Environmental Health, your permit will be pulled by CCCFM and billed at the quarterly fee of $142.00. Health / Wellness and Sustainable Environment Business Sponsorship
This program is an opportunity for local businesses interested in promoting health, wellness and clean, sustainable, environmental practices. The approved applicants are invited to participate through the Sponsorship Program at Contra Costa Certified Farmers’ Markets.
Please include a detailed description of how your business will enhance and support the efforts of the farmers’ market. Once the application is reviewed and approved applicants will be contacted to confirm eligibility and the requested dates of participation. The Sponsorship fee payable to CCCFM Inc. must be received before attending.
Limited free space is available at each market to introduce a non-profit organization. Opportunities are scheduled on a space available basis and selling is not permitted.
We are looking for motivated & friendly people who are interested in helping Contra Costa Certified Farmers’ Markets by volunteering as special event assistants or welcome ambassadors. Volunteer positions range from one day on site help for events to sitting on the Governing Board.
