All participants grow or make what they bring to the markets.
There is no resale at Certified Farmers’ Markets.
Vendors / Membership
There are 2 categories for participants, both of which require approval. Read the Governing Rules Here.
1. Membership Participants
The annual membership fee is $135.00.
Non-farmers who are sampling open product or cooking at the markets will require a Temporary Food Facilities permit from Contra Costa Environmental Health, your permit will be pulled by CCCFM and billed at the quarterly fee of $142.00. 2. Non-member Participants
Artisan / Crafters are invited to participate at CCCFM markets on a limited basis, typically November-April as determined by the Market Manager. Invited participants are not members of the association and therefore not subject to the of annual membership fee. An application fee will be charged for each market participated in, each season.

- Musicians play for tips.
- Some of our locations do not have access to power, which requires you to provide your own generator as a power source for amplification.
- Walnut Creek has 2 opportunities to play music, on Locust at Cole and Locust at Lacassie.
- If you are interested in being placed on the list to play additional markets and dates, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the music list when we have the occasional cancellation.

Health / Wellness and Sustainable Environment Business Sponsorship
This program is an opportunity for local businesses interested in promoting health, wellness and clean, sustainable, environmental practices. The approved applicants are invited to participate through the Sponsorship Program at Contra Costa Certified Farmers’ Markets.
Please include a detailed description of how your business will enhance and support the efforts of the farmers’ market. Once the application is reviewed and approved applicants will be contacted to confirm eligibility and the requested dates of participation. The Sponsorship fee payable to CCCFM Inc. must be received before attending.

Limited free space is available at each market to introduce a non-profit organization. Opportunities are scheduled on a space available basis and selling is not permitted.
The booth set up:
- Please bring everything needed (table, chair, canopy, weights).
- Arrival time is 1 hour before the market opens (check the website for market start times).
Want to make a difference in your community?
We are looking for motivated & friendly people who are interested in helping Contra Costa Certified Farmers’ Markets by volunteering as special event assistants or welcome ambassadors. Volunteer positions range from one day on site help for events to sitting on the Governing Board.
