Market Manager

Looking for an individual who is passionate about building community; conscious of the food we eat, curious about where it comes from, and mindful about supporting small family farms, food makers and other small businesses.

CCCFM operates two farmers’ markets, both are year-round. We are actively hiring for our Saturday market in Orinda. This would be the Manager’s “home” market however Manager must cross-train our Sunday market as well and be available as needed. Dedication to weekend work is a MUST. Admin duties are expected weekly, are flexible and work during weekdays would be conducted from home.

  • Manage a diverse group of small businesses.
  • Work in an outdoor environment, at times in adverse weather conditions.
  • Lift 75 pounds safely.
  • Have the spatial understanding to create market layouts.
  • Proficient in Google Drive Applications.
  • Drive company van comfortably.
  • Have a current CA Drivers’ License and good driving record.
  • Pay starts at $23, performance and salary review conducted at six months.

Farmers Market Representative

Farmers Market Representative is the front person of Epidemic Ales
and will provide a friendly, knowledgeable, and fun experience for
customers at the Farmers Market Booths.

Farmer’s Market Representatives report to the Taproom Manager and are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Farmer’s Market booth including full load-in, setup, service, and breakdown of the booth. Pupusas Buen Provecho

We know it is an art to master the technique of making pupusas and cooking them to perfection. The ideal candidate for this position will:

  • Preferably have experience

Far West Cider

Far West Cider is seeking a mobile tasting room representative at their network of Bay Area Farmers Markets. Become a local ambassador to a food-focused audience who is primed to learn (and taste!) what real CA-Grown cider is. This is a part time role (6-12 hours a week) with room for advancement within our small but growing company.

Requirements:

  • Because this role involves sampling alcohol you’ll need to be at least 21 years of age.
  • Previous experience working in food and beverage (specifically grocery & alcohol service) a major plus.
  • Minimum 6-month commitment, we will train you!
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 80+ lbs over short distances
  • Access to a reasonably large-ish vehicle (we’ve done it many times in a Honda Fit – you will need at least that much cargo space)
  • Positive attitude with enthusiasm for craft beverages, farmers markets, and chill vibes
  • Incredible sense of responsibility, tenaciousness, stick-to-it-tive-ness
